On May 16th, the Mitchell Giurgola-designed Stocking Hall Rehabilitation and Addition at Cornell University was recognized with a 2017 AIA New York State Excelsior Honor Award for Public Architecture. The annual awards program recognized thirteen publicly funded projects from New York State that “exemplify design and excellence in the public sector and provide a model of excellence for future state-funded building design.”
