370 Jay Street Panel Discussion at The Center for Architecture
On Monday, September 24th, MG Partners Carol Loewensen and Steve Dietz presented 370 Jay Street as a case study during NYU in Brooklyn: Designing an Academic Frontier at the Center for Architecture. The presentation included perspectives from Regina Meyer, President of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, Seth Pinksy, former President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), and Lynn Brown, Senior VP for University Relations and Public Affairs at NYU. The panel discussed how the partnership between NYU and the City ultimately led to the successful development and transformation of 370 Jay Street from an abandoned mid-century building into a vibrant academic hub able to accommodate a wide-range of disciplines in media arts and technology.
