Mitchell Giurgola is pleased to be working in collaboration with Susan T Rodriguez | Architecture • Design and the Central Park Conservancy to reimagine Central Park’s Lasker Rink and Pool. Originally constructed in 1966, the Lasker Rink and Pool has become an unsightly barrier at the northern end of Central Park. Designs were unveiled on September 18th calling for the transformation of the site into a contemporary recreation facility, seamlessly integrated into the landscape. This will be the largest project in the Central Park Conservancy’s history and is scheduled to be completed by Spring 2024.
